The concept of the sheltered space with corresponding apartments is also expressed in the building architecture with its central courtyard as the focal point. This impression is reinforced by the creatively illuminated staircase and the way the corridors open onto the courtyard with two-storey window elements in RAL 7015.

Multi-generational residential complex to passive house standard
The second Hamburg housing initiative saw the construction of a modern multi-generational residential complex in the Eimsbüttel district of Hamburg. The architectural practice "NeuStadtArchitekten" designed a five-storey passive complex with 16 private apartments, two communal areas, an underground car park and two staircases for a joint building venture.

Existing six-storey apartment buildings in Senftenberg were converted into a modern residential complex in three stages. The complex is located on the southern edge of the historic city centre and is part of a residential complex bordered by Lake Senftenberg to the south and the city park with its castle and fortress to the east.
